Minnie Lou Morris
Minnie Lou Morris went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2018 surrounded by her family. Minnie was born on April 9, 1940 in Franklin County, Tennessee to the late Artis Loyd and Bessie (Shockley) Isbell. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Morris; brothers, Ira Isbell, Billy Isbell, Artis Isbell Jr. and Charles Isbell; and sister, Ruth Quinn. Minnie is survived by her brothers, Ed Isbell, Bobby (Emma Jean) Isbell, and Harold (Mary) Isbell; sisters, Peggy Lee, Shirley Reed, Linda (Ernie) Clark, Barbara (James) Elliott, and Brenda Brewer; children, Darlene (Bobby) McBee of Tullahoma, Dennis (Angie) Morris of Tullahoma, Bessie (Rick) Everhart of Normandy, Lisa (Tim) Jensen of Lynchburg, and Steve (Michelle) Morris of Tullahoma; seventeen beloved grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Minnie attended Westside Church of the Nazarene and Fellowship Baptist Church and was retired from PCA. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her flowers, cooking, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. Minnie also enjoyed going to yard sales and travelling, as well as sewing for her loved ones. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate personality and for her smile that was contagious. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Gary Bell, Rev. Ricky Everhart, and Rev. Bobby McBee officiating. JoAnn Riddle of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her residence at the age of 77 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, July 16, from 5 -8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
JoAnn was a native of Tullahoma. She was a member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene but attended Mt. Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She loved to travel and going places. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing cards, especially rummy and rook. She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter. She and her loving husband, G L Riddle would be celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary on July 19th.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, James David and Edna Wiseman; father, Delbert Conley; son, Timothy Dale Scivally and grandson, Patrick Buckner.
In addition to her husband, G L Riddle of Tullahoma, she is survived by daughters, Sherry Ferrell and her husband, David of Lynchburg, Marticia Drisko and her husband, Jim of Cowan and Melissa Alimilla of Pensacola, FL; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
